Compliance Associate - Remote

This hourly (non-exempt) position assists in all aspects of the Bank's compliance and CRA program.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in creating reports for senior management, the Board of Directors, and the FDIC.
Perform and manage quality reviews.
Update and maintain compliance and CRA information on Bank systems.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of compliance training materials.
Serve as secretary of the Compliance Management Working Committee and other Compliance committees, as appointed.
Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance with federal and state advertising laws and regulations.
Assist in compliance and fair lending audits as needed and work with the audit department to implement changes, enhancements, etc.
Assist in preparation of materials for consumer compliance and CRA, safety & soundness, information technology, trust, and all other examinations as necessary, including special requests for data.
Assist the Compliance Officer and Compliance Manager in managing the Bank's Compliance Management Program.
Coordinate with the branches and various departments within the Bank on compliance related issues / projects.
Perform all other related duties as applicable.
Administer the Vendor Management program.
Conduct and complete additional assignments/projects as designated by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or related equivalent experience required.
1-3 years of banking experience preferred.
Compliance and CRA experience a plus.
Understanding of audit and analysis is helpful.

Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to effectively tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation.
Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms. Maintain professional standards relating to spelling and grammar.
Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Advanced knowledge of various software programs for data management and program interfacing is crucial.
Experience with CRA Wiz is preferred, but not required.
Experience with SharePoint is preferred, but not required.
Occasional local travel required for meetings may be required.
Typical scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
Occasional weekends and after-hours as workload dictates.
