Please join us to dedicate Illinois’ tallest peace pole!  You are invited to its dedication on the International Day of Peace. Free pickles on a stick, free peace flags, music, dancing, BIG FUN, and more await you!  The peace pole includes the word for "peace" in each of the 60 languages spoken in Ela Township.  The peace pole was installed to foster peace and celebrate the diversity of our community.  Come join us as we gather to affirm our desire for peace not only in our township, but worldwide.
