Event Description:
The Rev. Dr. Gregory Seltz from the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty in Washington, D.C., will lead a Champions for Religious Liberty Event at St. Matthew Lutheran Church & School, Hawthorn Woods, Illinois.

Dr. Seltz will lead sessions on:
  • Christian Confidence when Worldviews Collide.
  • Set Free to Live Freely
  • Two Kingdoms – One Mission for the sake of unity of the Gospel
The Champions for Religious Liberty Event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 1:30 p.m. Lunch is included. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

St. Matthew Lutheran Church & School is located at 24500 Old McHenry Road, between Quentin and Midlothian Roads, in Hawthorn Woods.

Dr. Seltz will also serve as the Guest Preacher for the Weekend Services at St. Matthew, Saturday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday Morning at 8:00 & 10:45 a.m.

The mission of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty is to ignite and fuel a uniquely Lutheran response to increasing intrusions, limitations and challenges by the government in the life of the Church, while educating, encouraging and equipping LCMS members and organizations to take informed action in support of marriage, life and religious freedom.
